business & branding session
Whether you are a lawyer, a boutique owner, an artist, a general contractor - professional photographs are so important and can make all the difference to your customers and clients! Having a background in graphic design, I understand the importance of matching your photographs with your brand. My Business & Branding sessions are professional, but have a more casual feel to them. We will use a real space rather than a backdrop. These sessions can be photographed at a location that makes sense to your business! This can be outdoors, in a studio, in your office or another location. We will take a look at your brand together and decide on what makes the most sense for you so each session will be unique to your business! This includes headshots, content and product photography with a more lifestyle feel to it!

Business & Branding sessions about a 45-60 minute session, digital download from an online gallery, and rights to print on your own.
mini $300+
Depending on your needs as a business we can also do a mini session or several by the hour sessions. For example, a boutique that needs updated content every month or so would need several smaller sessions.
the process
Contract and Deposit
We will decide on a date and location. Once details are decided, a signed contract and 50% retainer will be required to book your session. I will send you a contract and invoice via email. You can sign and pay online! After I receive these two things, your time and date will be reserved!
Weather
Clouds are actually great for photographs! They block out the harsh shadows. If it’s sunny, we will search for the shadows! If the weather on the day of the session looks like it’s going to rain, storm, or be unbearably hot or cold we will reschedule. If we are photographing in your home or in a studio, then of course this does not apply.
Processing and Edits
The editing process takes 2-3 weeks. All photographs will be edited to photographer’s judgement. You will receive a mix of color and black and white images. If you need any changed to black and white, just ask!
Delivery
You will receive a link to your online gallery where you can then download your photographs. This online gallery will be yours to share as well! Be sure to save these photographs in a safe place on your computer because I will only hold them for 1 year.
tips for your
Style and Outfits
Find clothes that represent your personality and your business. Solid colors and small patterns photograph best. If you are including multiple people coordinate colors, but do not match exactly. Pick a couple of colors and stay within that color scheme. Mix a solid with a texture or a solid with a pattern. Look at your website/marketing materials and use those colors as inspiration so the photographs go well with your brand.
What to Avoid
Avoid clothes with characters, writing, or large logos on them. Avoid being too "matchy-matchy" or showing too much skin. Unless your business has uniforms then of course you’ll be matching. Keep in mind, colors can reflect color! A bright coral colored shirt can reflect a coral hue onto your faces causing the coloring to be off. For this reason I do not recommend neon or super bright colors - more toned down or muted colors work best.
Accessories and Shoes
Keep it simple. Add in a bracelet, leather watch or a scarf if it’s cooler. Bring a hat that can be added or taken out if you’d like! Accessories should be fun, but less is more so. Layers are also a fun way to add texture and interest. Don’t forget about shoes! For shoes, consider if we will be walking around or stationary for your photographs. Avoid workout or running shoes. If it’s winter time, wear wool socks and some cute boots! Those toes will get cold if we are outdoors! Match the season.
