I am so honored that you are considering me as your wedding photographer! There is something dynamic about photographing two people in love. It doesn’t require acting or pretending, maybe just a little direction. It is my goal to capture your personality. I focus more on capturing moments with each other like laughing, hugging and goofing around because those are the moments you remember! I feel so blessed to have the privilege to experience these special moments right alongside you. Your wedding day is a truly special occasion and it is filled with joy and excitement! What is your style?
I would say my photographic style is mostly documentary where I am photographing moments as they happen; real, genuine moments. I won’t strictly pose you, but I will give you direction and then I will photograph how you respond and react to me and to each other.
When will you receive your images?
You will receive an online album of your images roughly 6-8 weeks after your wedding date.
Can we print our own photographs and post them online?
Yes! As long as it’s for personal use only (you cannot profit or sell them without my permission) and as long as you do not edit or manipulate them in any way - they are yours to use!
How many photographs do you deliver?
I don’t aim for a specific number, but rather focus on creating quality images that tell your story! Roughly, I deliver anywhere from 75-100 polished images per hour.
Do we need a second photographer?
A second photographer can add another perspective and allows me to focus on a specific moment without missing others! Great for weddings with multiple locations.
Do you work with a shot list?
Not a written one. I have photographed enough weddings that I have created my own mental shot list. I believe that a strict shot list prohibits me from being creative and from capturing spontaneous, meaningful moments. I make my best work when we collaborate and you trust me to direct and create! A small list of must have photographs is welcomed!
Do you help me with the timeline for my wedding?
Yes! I work with you to create a timeline that allows for enough photograph and relaxation time so you are not overwhelmed or rushed!
I see you are a graphic designer, do you design wedding stationery?
Yes! I also offer custom wedding stationery services. If you are interested in adding this to your photography collection please contact me for further information!
Great! How do we book?
you need is a signed contract and a 50% retainer and you will be BOOKED!
the process
Contract and Deposit
Once details are decided, an online contract and invoice will be sent to you via email. A signed contract and retainer (50% of your package total) will be due upon booking. You can sign the contract online and pay the invoice by mailing in a check. Once I receive these two things, your wedding day will be reserved! Now you can cross photographer off of your list!
The Meantime
This will be the period between when you book and your wedding date. During this time, we will schedule an engagement session (if included in your collection). I am also available for advice, vendor recommendations and tips along the way! The remaining balance will be due 1 month before the wedding day. Also at this time, we will work on a timeline to keep your day running and smoothly as possible.
The Wedding
It’s here! The day you have been waiting for. You are getting married! It’s now time to fully relax and let the day happen.
Processing and Delivery
The editing process takes 6-8 weeks. And because I know you are super excited to see them, I will likely post a preview photograph on my Facebook page. I will deliver your photographs via an online album. This album will be available for up to 1 year. You may use this album to download and also to share with family and friends. A flash drive is also available for an additional fee. A print release form will also be sent to you that will allow you to print as you wish.
engagement session
Weddings are big beautiful celebrations, but can also be a lot of work so be sure to take a breath and enjoy right where you are now - engaged!! I highly suggest booking an engagement session with your photographer not only to celebrate this moment in time, but also so we can get the chance to know each other more and have the experience of working together. That way on your wedding day you can say “Oh, we got this!” with no stress when it comes to photographs!
